Sunday update: ALL pattern testing positions have been filled! Thank you to everyone who has contacted me and the response has simply blown me away! 🙂 DO watch for the release of this pattern and no doubt some very awsome test bag photos that I will share with you as well! 🙂
OK….I am getting closer! Those of you following my blog know that I have been busy working on my next pattern, which is a backpack. I have just finished another prototype and am now working on the photography and finishing up the next prototype….plus tidying up the editing etc, LOTS of work yet to do BUT…..it means once I am done, I will need PATTERN TESTERS!
FEATURES: The New backpack is not
only super useful BUT super cool and stylish too, with its gorgeous buckle hardware,
eyelets and metal feet. Featuring a zippered front flap pocket which has 5 pen
pockets and a little coin pocket. There are two side pockets closing with a
magnetic snap and a roomy main compartment that also consists of a large slip
pocket for books or a small laptop. PLUS the interior also boasts a zipper
pocket of its own!
Adjustable straps and a hanging loop complete the ensemble.
Finished bag size = Approx. 36cm (14”) X 33cm (13”) X 15cm ( 6”)
There is quite a bit of hardware needed so I am posting a little earlier than I normally would so you have time to gather supplies! Are YOU up for a FREE pattern and a testing job? Here are some pics to help you decide!
Apart from fabric and other notions, you will need the following hardware:
- 2 X Strap Adjusters to suit 25mm (1”) Webbing
- 4 X 12mm (½”) Bag Feet
- 4 X 20mm (¾”)
- 4 X Eyelets that your buckle’s pins will fit
through. I use 5.5mm ( 3/16ths) (inner hole diameter)
- 1 X 18mm Regular Magnetic Snap for the Front
- 2 x 14mm Regular Magnetic Snaps for the Side
You can also see an earlier post and additional photos in another fabric by clicking here!
Are you interested in testing this pattern for me in exchange for getting the pattern for FREE? Here’s the nitty gritty…I am ‘hoping’ to have the pattern available by the weekend of the 25th & 26th of May however knowing me and how picky slow I am work, it may only be ready a little later than that! Of course I will advise you closer to that time and you can decide then if you are willing and able to have a crack at it! 🙂
Please don’t apply for this job if you are not in a position to work quickly after the pattern is provided to you! The backpack will need to be completed within 1 week of you having received the pattern! The pattern is rated Advanced!
Expressions of Interest please EMAIL ME and I will add you to the list! I will be needed 6-8 people to test for me and while priority may be given to a previous tester who has completed their bag/s and given helpful feedback, testing will be on a first in, first served basis!
Please note that I will get back to you either way BUT I will be offline over the weekend until Monday, for a little R&R! 🙂
