DRUMROLL…..AND….the winner of our name the pattern competition is Carmen N for her suggestion of “Epiphany”! Thank you Carmen! You have won a copy of the pattern PLUS a lite hardware kit! Please email me as you haven’t left your contact details with your comment! 😉
The Epiphany will be a stylish addition to your handbag collection. Featuring a front slip pocket for your phone or keys, a back zipper pocket and a recessed zipper closure. The spacious interior features 2 slip pockets, a pleated pocket and a pen pocket one side. Plus you can choose to add another zippered pocket to the other side if you wish!
The base of your bag sports bag feet to protect your bag from dirt and wear. The bag also features optional side Grommets with Gate Rings which will allow you to add an optional removable adjustable cross body strap, secured via detachable hooks. Lots of gorgeous hardware (optional) and topstitching make this a very professionally finished bag. You will be the envy of your friends! Why not make them one too!

First up to show you I have Nancy of Wrapped In Love. I really love Nancy’s choice of fabrics here and you have to admit the model here has cute legs? LOL
Liz of Moments has used ultra suede, textured faux leather & a dark brown faux leather. Since Liz opted not to include the adjustable strap, she decided to add a pleat in each Gusset to keep the sides from sticking out.
Liz even used the ultra suede in the interior pockets. Gotta love the interior but what, no red? I still can’t get used to not seeing red somewhere in Liz’s bags!
Marilyn of Shades of Bold has made this gorgeous Epiphany in such pretty colours!I really LOVE how the interior looks!
Pat’s Bag is just STUNNING! I really need to start using some of my orange stash and this is the motivation I need although Pat assures me it isn’t this orange in reality….well I like it like this, Pat! 🙂
Next up we have Namrata’s bag. WOW I just LOVE the colours in this bag! Stunning! You can visit Namrata’s Facebook page HERE to see more of her work!
Next up is Norma of Norma’s Bag Boutique. Norma used a solid gray thick twill and a canvas print with gray, yellow and black. For the lining she used a gray quilting cotton. STUNNING!
Next up is Judith of Judith Stitches. I LOVE how her front pocket is almost invisible due to what Judith describes as a “lovely serendipitous moment because the pattern on the pocket matched perfectly to the piece underneath”…well…call it what you will, it looks FABULOUS! 🙂
Next up is Ellen’s GORGEOUS bag! Ellen has chosen a different layout for her fabrics and I must say I LOVE it like this! That’s the FUN part about making your own bags….you can change things to suit YOU!
Next up is Andrea’s FABULOUS “Sharks” bag! No secrets as to whom is her favorite team! LOL
Meghan’s bag in reds and blacks is looking totally STUNNING!
Ann has added some stunning embroidery to her Epiphany…..LOVE this!
……and a last minute addition is Katherine’s gorgeous bag! LOVE these fabrics!
Last BUT not least we have Rachel of A Tiger in a Tornado. Rachel hasn’t quite finished BUT I LOVE really love it so far so I thought I would show you a sneak peak of the exterior…..Gotta LOVE the Tula Pink fabric and the embroidered owl matches in so nicely, don’t you think?
So I am sure you agree this wonderful team of testers have outdone themselves yet again?….I truly LOVE seeing all the wonderful bags these awesome sewists make! Many thanks goes out them. I really couldn’t do this job without this team of dedicated helpers! Thank you so much ladies! 🙂

Congratulations on the new pattern release Christine….. its AWESOME!!!!
Lovely design, Christine – I actually like the detachable strap setup on this bag, although it seems most of your testers decided to opt out. Hoping for great sales for you!!
What a stellar lineup of bags–and the name is fantastic!
Gorgeous bags, everyone–you make me want to make one, too! 🙂
LOL–cute legs–good one, Christine! 🙂 Yay for a new pattern design!!
Another great pattern, Christine! Really enjoyed being part of the test group. Will get my blog about The Epiphany Bag up in just a few days.
LOL Christine, thanks for adding me in! I will get this finished, and I even have most of the pieces for the adjustable strap! It’s a great pattern and almost a fast sew! At least fast for your patterns! 😉
What an awesome bag you have designed! Great instructions and photos as always! Thanks for including me!
Thank you Ellen! 🙂
Thanks Rochelle…..well a big part of the reason they may have left it off is because I gave everyone such short testing notice so not much time to gather the hardware! The Gate rings are something not so readily available and often needs ordering online…. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by Krista….wish my legs were so trim lol! 😉
Awesome Judith…and I really enjoyed having you be a part of the testing! SUCH FUN!
LOL….no worries Rachel….I am looking forward to seeing it finished….I already KNOW it’ going to look amazing!!
Thanks for being a part of testing it, Nancy!
I love this pattern and am ready to download it. How do I do that and get a 20% discount since I am a subscriber ?
I’ve enjoyed reading all of the names suggested for this bag., and I do like the name Epiphany.
