Finally it's time for me to introduce my November 2016 bag of the Month Club bag - The Carriers Conquest!
The Carriers Conquest will not only be a stylish addition to your handbag collection, but a practical one too with loads of pockets to keep you organised. Featuring two spacious top edge zipper pockets with quick access phone pocket. The front zipper pocket also contains two slip pockets. The roomy centre compartment closes with a flap and magnetic snap. Inside are two more slip pockets and a clever pocket designed to hold a wallet up to the ChrisW Designs Penny Inn size.
Make your bag from all fabrics or a combination of fabric and vinyl or pleather. Choose from making your own strap connectors or using metal connectors for added bling!
Finished size: Approx. 38cm W X 25.5cm W X 11.5cm D (13” W X 10” H X 4 ½” D)
Yes! I've revamped my Emma pattern!
Emma was one of my very early patterns so I thought it was high time I revised it AND while I was at it I thought why not add a flap AND make her a little bigger while I was at it so it now is more suited to all ages! I am happy to say, Emma is a really quick and easy sew which is perfect for those last minute gifts! Depending on your fabric choice, it is suitable for everyone!
The Emma is a great little ‘grab and run’ bag when you don’t need to take a lot of stuff with you! Comes with TWO versions to choose from! Version 1 has a cute little frill and closes with a magnetic snap. Version 2 has a flap which closes with a twist lock. Both versions have an interior zipper pocket to keep your valuables secure and a slip pocket. Emma sports a FUN braided strap. It’s a great weekend project and you can even use up some of those leftovers in your stash!
Finished bag size = Approx. 20cm W X 18cm H X 5cm D (8” W X 7” H X 2” D)
My Bag of the Month Club pattern for June is the Lunar Collection. I am really pleased to final have a travel bag offering in my pattern collection. This pattern has THREE sizes! The very BIG (many say HUGE) "Full Moon" bag is perfect for a longer trip or for those of you that like to take the kitchen sink! The middle sized bag, The "Half Moon"is perfect as carry on luggage or a weekend away. The smallest size, the "Quarter Moon" is a great handbag size....or make a matching set and use it for toiletries!
PLU....Also available is a Pocket Supplement....perfect for adding extra storage to your Lunar bags. Fits all sizes!
I sure hope you like them as much as I do! :)

So.....just what are the differences in the old Bella and the new Bella II? Well although the bag looks very similar, pretty much the whole pattern is new and has been re-drafted and improved including the previous interior zipper pocket assembly.
I have added a recessed zipper closure to keep the main compartment contends secure.
The previous 2 exterior elastic side pockets have been omitted and instead, the single front pocket on the old Bella has been replaced with a new COOL front slip pocket design, featuring 4 slip pockets and feature Grommets. However of course, should you not like grommets, the pockets look super cool finished off in other ways too!
The Bella II is a very versatile pattern. It is really up to you how much of the hardware you decide to use as you can see from the following tester pics. Dress it up or dress it down! PLUS if you have an embroidery machine, it is (in Pats words) "a brilliant pallet for embroidery!".
