After wrestling with a poorly written pattern that took me days to decipher the initial steps, I decided to create my own bag designs.

I wear ALL the hats at CWD

I’m totally addicted to every aspect about designing handbags and wallets and running the business. I wear many hats including bag pattern designer, photographer, videographer, set designer and lighting coordinator, webmaster, office manager, bookkeeper, blogger, marketing and social media management. Have I forgotten any? LOL!

I am living in Australia with my husband, 4 dogs and a cat. I have two adult daughters and three grandsons.

When I am not working, I play with my grandkids, I paint furniture as a hobby, or you will find me pottering in the garden.

Life is a challenge! I could do with more hours in the day…. or no sleep. I tried that BUT unfortunately that didn’t work!

Things About me | Did you know

Yes, I like designing handbags and wallets and I also love creating websites, but I bet there is a lot about me you don’t know….

I grew up on a dairy farm yet I am allergic to dairy products so I can’t eat regular chocolate BUT that’s OK with me because I prefer to snack on potato crisps. Thats my weakness!

I used to design and sell teddy bears and teddy bear patterns before I ventured into bags. But I prefer bags. I’ve always had a ‘thing’ about bags, even as a small child. Every year for Christmas I would give my mum a new bag. I always hoped Santa would bring me a bag, but he never did! Perhaps that’s why I started to make my own! lol

I always wanted to work in Real Estate, and I completed a course with the intention of returning to the work force and selling Real Estate, but life got in the way, and I became a carer instead. Now I think I am too old to start a new career in Real Estate, so it will just remain a dream of mine…

I have Scoliosis of the Spine and had surgery when I was 16. I have rods in my back and my spinal movements are restricted because of this. I was told by my Orthopedic Surgeon that I would never be able to work full time and should go on a disability pension….I didn’t listen though. I never was good at doing what I was told!
