The Boxed Bliss Handbag has an internal cavity slip pocket perfect for a small wallet like the Snap and Go or Slip & Zip. Three layered patch slip pockets, an accordion pocket for reading glasses, and a pen pocket, all on one side of the bag’s interior.
On the other side is an integrated wallet featuring a zippered coin pocket, notes/bills pocket and 4 card slots easily holding 8 cards or more. PLUS, there is another larger zippered pocket for other valuables. There is still space for other ‘things’ in the main compartment.
The Boxed Bliss closes with a recessed zipper with a hidden phone pocket discreetly tucked into the wall of the bag near the zipper panels. The sides of the bag feature added cording/piping for both looks and structure.
If you like organization, this one is perfect for you!
WAIT! There is more! The bag features rolled handles, and an optional fabric feature webbing strap, with tabs.
While the bag made with all the features, is rated Advanced as it is a longer sew, you can easily leave off some of the pockets and make a quick sew instead – rated Intermediate.
Of course, you can also use the pocket designs in other bags and make the most of your purchase. There are some awesome techniques in this bag that you will use over and over again!

The Strapfield crossbody bag sewing pattern PDF, is a super versatile design which converts from over the shoulder to backpack in one easy swoop. It’s also super easy to convert from backpack or shoulder bag to a cross body bag too! Sporting loads of pocket options, you can choose from one main Front Slip Pocket or divide it into two, and even add a front Cargo Pocket!
Or if you don’t want that many pockets, simply add some stylish trims instead. The front also has a Zipper Pocket. The back of the bag features a newly designed Quick Access Phone Pocket. You can also add some Trims to the back if you wish.

Both sizes will fit water bottles (depending on size and shape of the water bottle you choose) in the Front Slip Pocket, however for larger or taller water bottles I recommend not dividing the front pocket into two.
