Love this pattern! It is well written with great instructions. The bag is very roomy and there are lots of pockets. The outside pockets and ribbon trim add that extra design feature which is very customizable.

I loved the original Bella and when Christine retired Bella I and designed Bella II, I thought Bella II was even better in so many ways, Although I still love the original Bella (but it’s no longer available). Bella II is stylish looking with the eyelets and ribbon and has more pockets on the front that the original version. Bella II has a zippered closure, keeping all your belongings nice and secure. Inside are even more pockets! So if you love lot of pockets, Bella II is for you. Although you could leave off some of the pockets if you don’t want too many. Bella II is a nice large bag, but you could reduce her if you want her a wee bit smaller, which I will be doing on the next Bella II I make. You cannot go wrong with Christine’s pdf patterns. Her instructions are well written with clear pictures and she is responsive too if you need help just give her a holler or join her Facebook group and one of bag makers will help out too. I tested this Bella II for Christine and many other bags too and all I can say is her bag patterns are the BEST! I do not get any payment for testing or promoting her patterns, I only receive the pattern itself, so I am not affiliated in any way. I wouldn’t keep testing for Christine if I didn’t absolutely LOVE her pdf patterns!!!

This was my first Chris W Designs pattern and while it was a challenge being the most complex bag I’d ever attempted, it was also a really fun bag to make. I’m really proud of my finished bag and people always comment on it (they are usually astonished that I made it). The clear instructions made me feel confident in my ability to make something so detailed and stylish.
