Snap N Go Wallet PDF Pattern
Watch the trailer:
The Snap N Go Wallet is a raw edge project designed to be made from fabrics that do not fray, such as cork, leather, vinyl etc.
This is a quick sew, compact ladies wallet featuring a notes pocket, two slip pockets, 3 card pockets, a coin pocket (or replace with another bank of 3 card slots instead), and an ID Pocket.
These are super fun and fast to make. Perfect for sew and sell or a quick gift! It is also suitable for a home sewing machine.
With the video tutorial included, you won’t have any problems making this wallet at all. Of course, if watching a video isn’t your thing, the pattern comes with my usual full comprehensive instructions with lots of photos.
All pattern templates are included as well as a projector and SVG files.
Finished size (closed and unfilled):
Approx. 11cm (4 3/8”) W X 10cm (4”) H X 2cm (3/4”) D.
The PDF pattern for the Snap N Go Wallet has 14 pages of instructions which include 39 step by step colour photos.
The pattern comes with printing instructions, too.
Pattern pieces are included for both shaped and rectangular pieces. SVG files and a Projector File are included too, so you can choose your preferred cutting method. Both Metric and Imperial measurements are included! All pattern files come in both A4 and Letter sizes for your convenience.
PLUS, a TEXT ONLY version of the instructions comes bundled with your pattern for printing purposes. This is great should you not need or wish to print all of the photos! Simply refer to your electronic versions for photos if needed! Saves on ink!
MATERIALS: Yardage: This is a guide only.
*Cork, Vinyl, Faux Leather or Leather: 61cm W X 30cm H (24” W X 12” H) (Allow extra yardage for fussy cutting).
*Clear Vinyl for ID Pocket: 9.5cm W X 6.4cm H (3 34” W X 2 ½” H)
*1 X 12mm (½”) Snap for the Flap Closure
*1 X 12mm (½”) Snap for the Coin Pocket (Optional. You don’t need this if you are making 2 banks of card slots).
*Permanent Fabric Glue.
I use a fast-drying, permanent fabric glue so I don’t need to wait too long before stitching. The one I use is “Quick Dry Adhesive by Couture Creations”. It dries sufficiently for me to stitch within 10 mins. I use this for cork, vinyl and leather; however, you can choose any glue suitable for your chosen material.
Tester recommended glues are: Fabri-Tac, Cre-Ation, Fevicol All Fix, Aleene’s Fast Grab Tacky Glue, Sika Contact Cement, E6000.
OPTIONAL – Edge Finishing Products or Glue for sealing the edges.
Fading Marker or Frixion Pen, Hole Punch, Snap Setting Tools, Wonderclips or similar, plus general sewing item.
