Definitely a 5 star. A fabulous pattern all around. I have made it now three times and each time I am in awe of the outcome. No, not because I am perfect, but because the pattern is THAT good. It is unique and a ton of fun, and as is always the case with Chris’s patterns, I have learned so much.

Stunner of a bag design using cork for the flap and accents, and lovely to be able to use some gorgeous different hardware too! Another fabulous bag from a very versatile designer. Thank you Christine.

This is a very different style bag! Lovely with cork and fabric. Not to big nor to small. Pattern is very easy to follow. Sews up nicely on a domestic machine. The flap will be thick to sew but you can use rivets also if you dont think your machine will handle the thickness. You can use alot of your own creativity on the outside to make this bag your own!

Such a unique look – I get complements and questions every time I go out with this bag!

A different looking bag because of the flap, but it was an easy to sew bag with Christine’s clear instructions. I like to sometimes get artsy when I see a bag flap and sew decorative stitches and rickrack and other embellishments to the flap and that’s what I did with this Podium Bag. I used batik and hand dyed fabrics to give it a one-of-a-kind look.

Having recently started bag making, and this being my first Christine W design, I was so pleased with all the instructions, the layout of how much of each pattern piece to cut in each fabric/interfacing/lining was really easy to follow. I can’t believe I made the bag myself, I modified with some extra rivetting, and extra internal pockets, and it’s great. Made with Cork and red canvas with a Cork strap.
