The Perfectly Clear bag sewing pattern s a raw edge project designed for transparent vinyl with solid vinyl/cork (or leather) accents. TIP: The Perfectly Clear bag also looks great in all opaque materials such as faux leather, vinyl or cork. The choice is yours!
The bag features two zippered sections. Use one for your phone and keys, the other one for your wallet and bits and pieces. You can carry the bag either by the handle or use the removable crossbody strap.
This bag is so versatile. Use it as a stadium bag, makeup bag or toiletries bag. Store your sewing bits and pieces in it. Your imagination is the only limit to the use of this bag!

With the video tutorial included, (linked in the pattern) you won’t have any problems making this bag at all. Of course, if watching a video isn’t your thing, the pattern comes with my usual full comprehensive instructions with lots of photos.
Included with your instructions are full pattern templates as well as a projector and SVG files.

You will find that the pattern pieces are included for both shaped and rectangular pieces. SVG files and a Projector File are included too, so you can choose your preferred cutting method. Both Metric and Imperial measurements are included! All pattern files come in both A4 and Letter sizes for your convenience.
PLUS, a TEXT ONLY version of the instructions comes bundled with your pattern for printing purposes. This is great should you not need or wish to print all of the photos! Simply refer to your electronic versions for photos if needed! Saves on ink!

*51cm (20”) of #5 Continuous Zipper plus 2 X Pulls
*2 X 25mm (1”) D Rings for the Handle Strap
*2 X 25mm (1”) Swivel Hooks for the Optional Adjustable Strap
*1 X 25mm (1”) Slider for the Optional Adjustable Strap
*Rivets:
1 X Double Capped Rivet – 6mm stem for joining your Body sections together.
6 X Double Capped Rivets (Optional) – 8mm stem for the Handle and Adjustable Strap
NOTE: You can try Chicago Screws as a substitute if rivets scare you!
Other Items:
Wondertape and/or Elmers Washable Glue, Hole Punch, Rivet Setting Tools (if using), plus general sewing items and a hammer.

I have made bags before using a clear vinyl window, but this was my first all clear/see through bag. I was worried about sewing it, but as always the instructions were excellent! If you need to carry a bag that you can (or others) can see through, then the Perfectly Clear Bag is your bag! There are 2 zippers compartments that are joined together. You can carry the bag with a handle, or clip on a longer strap for wearing cross body. Christine’s video makes it easy to follow along. The added cork or vinyl adds some color to the bag if you used all clear vinyl. You can use some fun prints that are still clear enough to see through, or make it with other non-fraying material, like cork or vinyl that you cannot see through, which makes this bag pattern more versatile.
